SandProject
![]() |
The SandProject is an art of drawing on the sand. The artist painters create unique pictures using only their hands and sand. A handful of sand is wonderfully morphed into a romantic landscape, a strange beast, a starry sky or a business logo. The whole procedure of sand image making is happening under spectator eyes. The peinters use a special table and all their gestures are being displayed into a screen. In that way you can be tracking their tiniest hand moves.

We focus to increase the efficiencies of CGI & VFX processes simply by having a couple of words in pre-production design phase. We do this either by participating and giving advice in storyboard & videoboard phases or by on-set VFX supervision during production.
We try to develop a two-fold VFX business using both digital competencies - compositing, matte painting, motion graphics, animation and also production capabilities - such as on set VFX supervision previsualization and management of Motion Control (MILO) with the VFX studio that MILO is being kept in.
Visual FX Design & Supervision
Makina’s VFX knowhow comes from its founders who has worked in Sinefekt for over 10 years as cgi artists. Makina aims to create a new service line as VFX supervision and decrease inefficiencies in post-production.
Motion Graphics Design
We have an inhouse capability of 2D animations and an outsource team of 3D animators. We aim to create quality movies that will be told as examples in directors’ community.
Motion Control & VFX Studio
Makina & Sinefekt together operates the first Motion Control (MILO) in Turkey. MILO is a camera robot that can accurately perform & repeat the movement that is commanded by the operator endless times. MILO is kept in a 350 m2 green-box shooting studio with dimensions of 6m x 14m x 25mt.
